How we bill

For most commercial and civil litigation matters, defense of employers in employment cases, and employment counseling, we charge hourly rates that are more competitive than big firm rates due to our lower overhead.  For some commercial and civil litigation matters, we may agree to take your case on a contingency fee basis.

For representation of employees in employment matters, we will consult with you for free to determine if we can take your matter on a contingency fee basis.  If we accept your case, you will not pay for our legal services unless there is a recovery.

To our fellow attorneys

We are fortunate to have worked together with many outstanding attorneys, either as co-counsel, local counsel, or having been referred a matter.  There are various reasons why other attorneys have referred matters to us.  Sometime they do not have the substantive experience to handle the matter.  Sometimes they are too busy to handle the matter.  Sometimes the case has proceeded to the point where they turn to us to handle a dispositive motion, trial, or appeal.  We take it as a great compliment when other attorneys entrust us to handle a matter for their client.

If you have a matter that you would like to refer to another attorney to handle, please contact us.  We will be pleased to talk to you about the matter.  If we agree to take the case, we will be delighted to represent the client pursuant to a fee sharing arrangement that complies with the requirements of the New York Rules of Professional Conduct.
